2025 is shaping up to be a big year for us here at Fourstones. With our PM6 paper machine nearing completion, our paper production capacity is set to double. We are pleased to say that 2025 also saw the completion of upgrades to the cylinders of both our existing Sapphire Mill paper machines.
We overhauled PM2 and PM4, with both cylinders receiving a regrind and PM4 also receiving a new coating – ensuring both cylinders are in top condition to our exact specifications. This process returns the cylinder to it’s optimal specification with incredible accuracy, resulting in a long lasting, reliable, like-new finish.
We are delighted with the result and expect to achieve both increased tonnage and higher quality tissue parent reels from both machines. Helping us to supply the UK paper industry with quality, ethically sourced UK paper for those manufacturing hygienic paper consumables.
Maintenance tasks like this allow us to keep our machines in perfect running order, whilst ensuring our paper products are of the highest quality. A smooth production process helps to support our growing customer base, as well as the future growth we have planned for our Sapphire Paper Mill.
