In order to use your centrefeed rolls in a dispenser, you must first convert them to a centre pull format. Step-by-Step Core Removal
Step 1
Locate the tear seam by looking inside the cardboard core. On Sapphire centrefeed, the tear seam is easy to locate by near the blue dotted line.
Step 2
For low density rolls, place both thumbs inside the core, either side of where the blue dotted line meets the core’s edge, and pull outwards. This will split the core and reveal the pull tab.
For high density rolls, follow the blue dotted line to the edge of the core, then work your thumb between the core and the inner layer of paper. You will be able to tear the core and reveal the pull tab.
Step 3
Once the core has split, grab the loose tab and pull upwards carefully. This will remove the core from inside the roll, revealing the first sheet of paper.
Step 4
Pull gently on the first sheet of paper, then turn the role upside down and place it in the dispenser, taking care to feed the paper through the dispenser opening. Close and lock your dispenser to begin dispensing your centrefeed.
Alternatively, if you don’t have a dispenser, simply place the role on a flat surface and pull the paper from the top. Using this method, the roll acts as its own dispenser.
